The saga between Offset and Cardi B is heating up once again. In a new development in their ongoing divorce, Offset has filed an amended response seeking spousal support—suggesting he’s not ready to part with his accustomed lavish lifestyle.
According to TMZ, while Offset didn’t specify a dollar amount, the filing implies he wants Cardi to provide financial support after their split. He also reaffirmed his request for joint custody of their children, though he agrees they should primarily live with Cardi.
This is the most significant update since Cardi filed for divorce in August 2024. At the time, she publicly defended Offset against claims he was an absent father, despite the couple’s tumultuous relationship playing out on social media. One viral moment saw Cardi bluntly state she “wouldn’t care if Offset got hit by a truck.”
Initially, both agreed to handle their own legal fees. However, Offset’s spousal support request could signal a more contentious legal battle ahead.
