Simon Guobadia, the former husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against her, alleging she made damaging and humiliating claims about his private life on social media.
According to newly filed court documents, Guobadia accuses Williams of spreading false and offensive statements suggesting he suffers from erectile dysfunction. He is seeking $500,000 in damages, claiming the allegations have cost him lucrative sponsorships and business opportunities, in addition to causing severe emotional distress.
The lawsuit details how, after their separation, tensions flared online as Williams allegedly shared posts portraying Guobadia as sexually inadequate. Guobadia insists these statements were entirely fabricated and intended to tarnish his reputation.
“These posts were deliberately crafted to suggest that [Guobadia] suffers from this condition, placing him in a humiliating light,” his legal team stated. “The statements are false; [Guobadia] does not have ED and has never been diagnosed with the condition.”
In addition to financial damages, Guobadia is also demanding compensation for the emotional and reputational harm he claims the posts have caused him.
