Award-winning Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has broken her silence over claims that she’s deliberately keeping her husband, Mr. Ezerika, away from the public eye.

Speaking on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, the actress and mother of two clarified that while her husband prefers to stay out of the spotlight, she isn’t intentionally hiding him.

“For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him — and for me, that’s enough. I don’t see why I should sit around thinking about what I’m trying to prove,” she explained.

Kadiri added that although some assume she lives an extremely private life, that isn’t entirely true — her husband simply values his privacy and chooses not to court media attention.

Ruth Kadiri and Mr. Ezerika got married in 2019 and share two daughters together. Despite her celebrity status, Kadiri has consciously kept her family out of the public eye, only occasionally giving fans small glimpses of her husband on social media.
