Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has stirred up fresh online drama after posting a video where he disclosed both his and Judy’s actual ages — aiming to silence critics who have mocked their former marriage.
Obasi, who previously accused actor Yul Edochie of having an affair with Judy while she was still married to him, said many people remain fixated on his age, often mocking Judy for allegedly marrying someone old enough to be her ancestor.
In the video, Obasi confidently stated:
“I am making this video because I don’t know why many people are so anxious about my real age. It is simple — Mr Obasi was born 18th October, 1978. Go and verify anywhere. If you now deduct 10 years from my age, you will get Judy Austin’s real age. For those saying she married her ancestor, go and sort it out by yourself.”
Obasi also briefly addressed claims that he sponsored Judy’s education before they married, though he stopped short of sharing further details.
He captioned the video:
“I still remain Mr Obasi Emmanuel, former husband to Judy Austin — the man that married in a family of marry one and marry all.”
