Actress Iyabo Ojo has publicly warned fellow Nollywood star Lizzy Anjorin, declaring that Lizzy should be held accountable if any harm befalls her or her family. The warning came in a video Iyabo shared on her official Instagram page, reigniting the long-running conflict between the two actresses.
Tensions flared after Lizzy Anjorin took to social media to announce what she claimed was a legal win—a defamation case against her being dismissed. Lizzy’s post suggested the matter was settled in her favour.
Iyabo Ojo quickly disputed this claim. In her video, she clarified that the case had not actually begun and that there was no ruling in Lizzy’s favour.
Iyabo stated:
“Lizzy, we haven’t even started any case. The judge struck it out for the sake of peace. I’ve been waiting for you to mention my name.”
She accused Lizzy of misleading the public, explaining that the case was dismissed not because of any legal victory but to maintain peace.
Iyabo also addressed Lizzy’s accusations that she keeps company with people who bully Lizzy:
“You said I always associate with people that bully you. Lizzy, we are not friends. I don’t owe you any explanation about who I choose to be close to.”
She stressed that her relationships are her private choice and rejected Lizzy’s attempts to dictate who she associates with.
According to Iyabo, Lizzy has a pattern of dragging people connected to her into online drama, which she claims has now crossed the line into harassment that could have real consequences.
Issuing a final warning, Iyabo said:
“If anything should happen to me or my children, Lizzy, you should be held responsible.”
Her statement has sparked strong reactions online, with many urging both stars to resolve their issues privately. Fans and colleagues have expressed concern about the escalating feud, encouraging both women to choose peace over public conflict.
