Popular Nigerian content creator Gloria Oloruntobi, better known as Maraji, has sparked conversations online after revealing the severe symptoms she’s battling during her third pregnancy.
Maraji, who announced in April 2025 that she’s expecting her third child, recently shared candid updates about the challenges she’s facing.
The skit maker disclosed that she’s been struggling with constant shortness of breath and lingering flu-like symptoms. She added that she’s lost her sense of smell entirely — to the point where she can’t even perceive the scent of burning food.
Explaining her condition, Maraji identified it as Pregnancy Rhinitis, which forces her to breathe mostly through her mouth and has made it nearly impossible for her to sleep at night.
Reflecting on her earlier pregnancies, she noted that the hearing loss she suffered during her second pregnancy was mild compared to what she’s experiencing now.
Her raw honesty struck a chord with many women, who flooded the comment section with their own stories of the struggles and sacrifices that come with pregnancy and motherhood.
