Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has once again spoken out to distance herself from her former friend and colleague, Tonto Dikeh.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Doris pleaded with Nigerians to stop linking her name to Tonto, insisting their friendship was never as close as it appeared online. She claimed they only reconnected when she visited Abuja and that they hardly saw each other outside those meetings.
“Please, I beg you people in the name of God. This woman called Tonto and I are not friends like it seemed on social media. We are two different people. We hardly see each other, only when I’m in Abuja. Please, I disassociate myself completely from her. In fact, I’ll narrate the kind of friendship we shared with evidence. I beg you, don’t associate me with this nonsense girl. I’m only stubborn, but I have my integrity intact. We were never that sugar and butter you people thought. Abeg, I don’t want to be linked with a shameless, disgusting human being. I’ll even come live to shed more light on this.”
In a follow-up post, Doris went further, calling Tonto “the most heartless person” she has ever known. She expressed regret over ever associating with her former friend and said she felt compelled to apologize to her own friends to clear the air.
“I apologized to my friends not because I was wrong but because I needed to clear up some things. Hey Tonto, you’re the most heartless person I’ve ever seen. I regret ever associating with you. God goodness me.”
