Fresh drama has erupted in Nollywood as actress Chinelo Rita publicly accused fellow actress Ruby Ojiakor of neglecting her in a time of grief following the death of her younger sister.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Chinelo revealed that she lost her sister shortly after Ruby’s lavish wedding to actor Moc Madu. She used the moment to highlight what she called the fake love and hypocrisy that runs deep in the entertainment industry.
Chinelo, known for her bluntness, said she holds no personal grudge against Ruby but is disappointed by what she sees as insensitivity and lack of support during her darkest moments.
She shared a screenshot of a direct message she sent to Ruby on Instagram — a message that, according to Chinelo, was never acknowledged.
Adding to her frustration, Chinelo pointed out that she had even bought clothes in preparation for Ruby’s wedding, making the snub feel all the more painful.
In her words:
“Nothing dey this life, absolutely. This is not for clout, but the fake love in this industry is alarming. That’s why nobody should come to my DM. Y’all pray with God’s name but fail to show true Christianity when it matters.
We are just pencils in the hand of the creator. I don’t hold grudges or beef people — that’s not my way. I say it as it is. It’s sad, my mind is off.
