Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has spoken out in defense of fellow reality star Tacha, who recently faced harsh criticism after revealing her surgically enhanced figure.
Tacha had taken to Instagram to proudly show off her new look following a breast augmentation procedure. While some fans applauded her confidence, others attacked her for altering her natural body, accusing her of “ruining” it.
Uriel, however, called out the hypocrisy of Tacha’s critics, pointing out that many of the same people shaming her now were the ones who mocked her natural body during her BBNaija debut in 2018.
In a fiery response, Uriel said:
“If the world is looking for a new method for amnesia, forget surgery, forget medications—just gather 10 Nigerians, especially from Lagos, and let them breathe on the person that needs memory loss. Ten minutes, that’s it: instant amnesia, no side effects.
Because Nigerians? You people are the true originators of selective memory. One minute you’re dragging someone through the mud, the next you’re acting brand new, like you weren’t the ones who started it.
Why can’t you people just twist your lips, put them in your pocket, and face front? You people are so unstable. Yes, I said it with my full chest—with all due respect.
Tacha, the same woman you shamed back in 2018—mocked her body, ridiculed her every move. Now she’s glowing up, looking like a whole meal, and suddenly everyone has moral opinions?”
Uriel’s passionate defense struck a chord with many who agreed that women should have the freedom to make choices about their bodies without facing relentless judgment.
