BBNaija star Sammie, whose real name is Samuel Jacob Alifa, has been accused of defrauding a man named Emmanuel of ₦4.45 million under the false promise of securing him a spot on the popular reality show.

The allegation surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) through user @AssistantEbukaa, who shared a video of Emmanuel narrating his ordeal.

“BBNaija star Sammie took almost ₦5 million from this guy, promising it would get him into the show during auditions, but the audition ended and he wasn’t even selected. Now he’s left stranded after spending so much, and Sammie has cut off communication, despite saying he’d refund the money if it didn’t work out.”

In the video, Emmanuel explained how Sammie allegedly convinced him to keep sending money with the assurance of securing a slot on the show.

“My name is Emmanuel. I was scammed of ₦4.5 million by my brother from Kogi State, Samuel. He even advised me to take a loan. In the end, I had to sell my car to repay it. What pains me most is that it wasn’t a stranger who did this to me, but someone I trusted and called a brother.”

The video has since sparked outrage online, with many expressing shock and anger in the comments.
