BBNaija No Loose Guard housemate DJ Flo has opened up for the first time about the breakdown of her long-standing friendship with fellow contestant Rhuthee, revealing how their decade-long bond came to an unexpected end during—and after—the show.
The two entered the Big Brother Naija house as close friends, boasting a friendship that spanned nearly 10 years. However, instead of deepening their connection, the high-pressure reality TV environment became the catalyst for a painful falling out.
During the No Loose Guard reunion special, which premiered on June 23, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu directly addressed the elephant in the room—asking DJ Flo what truly led to the friendship’s collapse.
DJ Flo explained that the final straw was a post-show interview Rhuthee granted, in which she made disparaging remarks. According to Flo, hearing those comments was both eye-opening and hurtful.
“That interview made me realize something very clear,” she shared. “You can love and care deeply for someone, and still recognize when it’s time to walk away. I just knew it was over.”
Fans were quick to react online, with many expressing sadness over the fallout, while others praised DJ Flo for choosing peace over unresolved tension.
