Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has broken her silence following viral rumors claiming she was arrested for allegedly cyberbullying fellow actress Mercy Johnson.
Speculation erupted online after a video surfaced showing Angela being escorted by officers of the Nigerian Police. The clip quickly fueled reports that Mercy Johnson had filed a petition leading to Angela’s alleged arrest.
Addressing the rumors during an Instagram Live session, Angela clarified that she was never arrested but simply invited by the police.
“I was invited and I went there, you know what I mean…” she said, stopping short of revealing further details or confirming whether Mercy Johnson was behind the petition.
